Pure mineral-free water has been shown time and again to improve the performance of all types and brands of water-miscible cutting and grinding fluids and its use is mandatory for successful long-term coolant recycling.
Pure water is key to excellent coolant and cleaner performance and longevity. Pure water sources include deionization, and reverse osmosis. Eriez can provide you with the complete reverse osmosis system. Reverse osmosis (RO) is a process that removes up to 98% of dissolved minerals, and virtually 100% of colloidal and suspended matter. Compared to other processes, it provides excellent quality water at a low cost and does not require acids or caustics for regeneration. RO systems are available from 100 gallons per day (GPD) to over 10,000 GPD.
